I have been dancing since I was 3 years old. I graduated on the Dean’s List with a Bachelors Degree in Contemporary Dance from the University of Calgary, in 2012, with a double concentration in Choreography and Performance, and steady work in anatomy and physiology. In 2016 I earned an MSc in Dance Science from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, in London, England, and was awarded a Trinity College London Scholar (Scholarship). My joy and work in teaching and performing in dance continues to this day.
MSc, Dancer, and MELT Enthusiast
My MELT journey began in January 2012, after a spinal tap left me unable to sit up or walk without excruciating pain. I found one of two MELT instructors in Canada, at the time, and traveled to see her as a last hope of recovery. After three weeks of practicing gentle techniques with the soft roller and balls, I was dancing again, and feeling pretty fantastic. A couple months later, I was on a plane to Florida for my first MELT Method teaching certification. Since then, I have completed my full MELT Instructor, and MELT Strength certifications.
I have brought MELT to hundreds of Calgarians, and it brings me so much joy to be able to facilitate the process of self healing, and watch my clients as they realize how simple it truly can be to change how their bodies look and feel. MELT is truly for everyone, and I have been able to share it with dancers, yogis, high performance athletes, office workers, parents, and people suffering with chronic pain and disease.
My Yoga Story
My yoga practice began in my early teens, and I earned my yoga teacher training certificate, RTY250, in 2013. The word yoga means “union” in Sanskrit, a union of mind, body and spirit. My practice has brought a calmness and flexibility to my body, but much more importantly, to my mind and soul. So much of our daily lives creates stress and tension, yoga has become a save haven to reconnect and find peace. Yoga has changed my life, and sharing this with my students has been more rewarding than I ever could have imagined.

The union of yoga and MELT has been natural, and stunningly complimentary. MELT is a regular part of my home yoga practice, and by popular demand, many of the yoga classes I teach begin with MELT.
